My screen won't turn on Latitude 2110
It turns on, but can't see a thing on the screen. It's black. If I connect it to an external monitor, I can use the laptop.

@llkath once your laptop is on shine a flashlight beam at an angle against the screen. If you can make out your desktop you know it is your backlight that is not working. If nothing shows then it is most likely your LCD. There is always a chance that this is related to either a bad LCD or a shortened circuitry on your motherboard. I’ll start with a new LCD screen unless something might have happened to the computer that may have other causes, like water damage etc.
