iCopy 2.1 not working to reprogram screen on iPhone SE 2020.

I am repairing a iPhone SE 2020 and restoring True Tone with my QianLi iCopy plus 2.1 is not working. (I have both the original screen and a new replacement one.) I have used the same iCopy to reprogram a iPhone 8 screen and it worked fine. I assumed that since the iPhone 8 screens are compatible with the iPhone SE 2020 and vice versa that the iCopy would function as expected. Does anyone know what might be the problem? Could it be the replacement screen? Does the iCopy Plus 2.1 just not support the iPhone SE 2020?
