Hi so its like in the title when i plug my macbook in it works for a second and then goes black

If you place a flashlight against the display do you see a faint image of your desktop? If you do then the backlight needs repair.

I was just able to fix mine! Honestly, I ordered a logic board the first time from online, and it didn’t fix the problem. Finally, I just bit the bullet and bought a brand new replacement LCD from AliExpress. It just arrived today, and it is now working with full brightness, Alhm! I tried all the other workarounds listed here (unplug monitor, cycle power, disconnect keyboard, etc…), but ultimately, replacing the LCD thankfully did it for me. Just be careful. It’s better than paying $1599 for the new studio display which is almost the same thing… maybe just 4k and better webcam. Not worth the hundreds of dollars more.
