Static in right channel in phono mode

I have a Denon DRA-425R receiver. While setting up my system to record LPs, the right channel in Phono mode suddenly stopped working. It now emits static/noise.

The speakers work fine since I can listen to the radio in Tuner mode.

I have stripped down my setup to just receiver and speakers. The noise is emitted regardless of whether my turntable is connected.

My method for recording is to route Tape record to a computer’s sound card. This worked fine one day and not the next.

When connecting to my computer the noise comes through to the sound card.
