AC only blowing heat

My blend door actuator started clicking and was stuck on AC. I finally just replaced the actuator and now I have heat but I now only have heat. No matter what I set the temp setting to it just blows hot air out of all the vents on both sides, driver and passenger.

checked and found compressor clutch relay not energizing. while jumping he clutch relay contact ,compressor clutch engaging. seems some control logic blocking the signal to compressor clutch relay. anyone can suggest what are the signals blocking the compressor clutch from engaging?

I would guess that there is still a problem with the blend door.

If it were “clicking” I would think the actuator was attempting to move the door, but something was wrong with the drive.

Or it could be that the actuator did not get installed properly.

My only guess is there is something wrong with the new actuator. My setting was already set on cold so it started blowing hot before I messed with it. I’m not sure how it could be installed incorrectly. There is only one plug and the shaft only fits in one way.
