Screen not turning on
When turned on the volume, and the whole thing is working fine. It's also registering touch and everything, but the actual screen just isn't showing anything at all.

Did anything happen leading up to this?
If it has been dropped or is thrown around, my best guess is that the display cable connecting the screen to the motherboad has been damaged or is disconnected. The good news is that this is a very easy repair (or at least very easily checked).
Otherwise, I would guess you need a full screen replacement - something a bit more involved but takes no more that about 1 hour overall. Take care though when separating the screen from the digitiser (the screen and glass assemebly) as it is held on tight with glue. The screen is compliant and you can bend it a couple of mm. Also make sure when replacing the screen that you remove dust from inbetween the screen/digitiser sandwich.
