Why won’t my computer with corrupted hard drive lets me boot into usb?

Samsung Series 9 Notebook 2012 Win 8.1 NP900X3d won’t boot after hard drive corruption, and I keep trying to boot from my windows recovery usb, but it refuses to boot into windows, or even to boot options or bios to boot from usb to reinstall windows, it just says all boot options tried press f4 for recovery. If I press any key it just restarts and boots to the same error again, or shuts off. I keep trying to go onto recovery but recovery says hard drive is corrupted. What should I do? Can I fix it without taking it to a store? By the way its NP900x3d not the one I listed. For some reason that specific laptop doesn’t show in options.

A P start your computer up.

1. Connect AC Power, Turn the computer on.

2. When the booting screen (SAMSUNG logo) appears, press the

F2 key to enter the BIOS Setup.

3 After a moment, the BIOS setup screen appears.

The items in the BIOS setup may diff er depending on the product

Hi,

Start the laptop and then press F2 to get into BIOS. When in BIOS go to Advanced > Fast Boot and disable it.

Save the changes, insert the USB drive into the laptop and restart the laptop. It should now boot from the USB port.

When Fast Boot is enabled, the BIOS bypasses the USB ports to speed up the POST procedure so that it boots the OS sooner, meaning the USB ports won’t work until the OS is loaded.
