Is there a good way to dry out the screen?
I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro that was in an Incase laptop case. Some water spilled inside of my backpack and it soaked the laptop case and my Macbook along with it.
Everything has since been dried on my MacBook Pro and I see that everything is still functional. The only problem is there are some splotches of water inside of the screen. I came across a post here (https://cognitivemileage.wordpress.com/2...) where the user dried off the screen by overheating it.
I’ve been “overheating” my MacBook for several nights now and about 60% of the water is gone from the screen. The only issue is the heat dissipates only near from the vents (or the bottom of the screen) and that’s the part that is most dry. Essentially, the bottom half of my Macbook screen is dry and perfectly normal now but the top half has some water spots still. I don’t think the overheating technique will help anymore since the heat can’t travel to that section.
Does anyone have any suggestions on drying out the rest of the screen?
Es esta una buena pregunta?
