Screen suddenly just went black 2 days ago and no idea why. Yesterday when turned on it suddenly wasn’t black anymore and worked fine but today when turned on it went back to being black.
Tried the flashlight thing but the screen is just completely black and i have no idea what model number it is.

@solacezzz since you cannot see what is displayed on the screen with a flashlight beam, the issue can be coming for the power board, the main board or the T-con board. You will need to let us know what exact model your TV is and show us what your boards look like. Post some good images with your QUESTION so that we can see what you see. For now my prime suspect is the T-con board followed by the main board.
The only other thing you could try right now is to totally disconnect everything that is connected to your TV, and I mean everything. Then unplug the TV and keep the power button depressed for about 1 minute or so. Now connect one video source, preferably a DVD/BR player or a game console. Reconnect your TV and turn it on. See if that now shows anything.

Usually the model number can be found near the power inlet or the audio/visual connectors on the back of the TV.
By the sounds of it you have issues with the backlight.
