Why am I get a single grey vertical stripe on my LCD panel?
I tried disconnecting the left and right ribbon bands from the tcon to panel( one at a time). If i disconnect the left side i get on the right side pink stripes the get bigger or smaller as i touch the connection band. If i disconnect the right side i get the same grey stripe as i would get with both sides connected. I checked the voltages and im getting different voltages for left and right output from tcon to panel also on the panel boards i get the same difference. Left side 10 mv , right side 5mV. this strikes me as odd. I also tested the capacitors on the tcon, found notjing wrong. Any idea what it might be?

Dércio Fernandes post some images of what your screen looks like with everything connected. Also, let us know what model your TV is. It is possible that this is a T-con board issue but it is also possible that this is a driver board issue. In your picture, you also want to show us where you checked the voltages. Push gently on the ribbon cables that enter your LCD (The cable that comes from the LED controller board. That is the board where the ribbon cables from the T-Con board go to.) See if that changes the line on your screen. This does not look like a typical T-Con board error.
