Some Pc Windows look grey

I just bought a Philips 55pos9002/12 and every other page I open in Chrome or Firefox is either totally grey or perfectly normal. Youtube videos play in perfect color but opening a Google page is a grey looking mess. I need help here or I'm going to have to return the TV back to the guy who sold it to me. Also if I open a Google page and bring a Youtube window on top of the Google page it gets clearly brighter. Any suggestions or help here? I'm yet to try a different computer hooked up to it but I will tomorrow. Thanks.

Hi,

Check if the software in the TV is the latest version i.e.107.001.140000. Click on Manuals & Documentation > Software and Drivers > Installation Instructions to see what to do.

Try connecting your mobile phone to the TV (see p.27 of the user manual) and check if it works OK, just in case the problem is your computer or a compatibility issue between it and the TV.

The software is up to date. I tried with a phone connected and the problem persists. Colors in the middle of the screen are inaccurate and washed out. Same happens when watching tv or using the tv's built in YouTube app. If I scroll down the pages the screen becomes darker too.

What are the TV menus screens like? Are they also grey etc?

Have you try clearing the apps' cache in the TV?

here is the section in the user manual that mentions this but i haven't read through it to see how to do it.
