Why my 3500 kr roland piano acting like this?

Hello to all the experts, I have an electric piano 3500 KR and in the lowest octave, it makes a not sharp sound. Whereas in the high octaves it makes a sound like that of an echo. Have you encountered such a phenomenon? Is it because there's a button pressed somewhere? I got the piano so I do not know its functions. Are there any capacitors that need replacing, if so what do you think, or something else thank you very much

Hi @electri ,

I don’t know the piano but have to tried resetting it back to factory default?

Here’s the procedure:

While holding LOAD and SAVE, press WRITE

Here’s the user manual if you haven’t already got one.

Also found the service manual if it is necessary to do any testing on the boards etc. The downside is that you have pay for it.

Hopefully a start.

hi, i put an earphones and here the same

The reason I ask is because this is not about one key that sounds "dull", but it is about group of keys together following each other from C to F sound. So I thought maybe it's a problem of the device's programming, I did the calibration like you said I pressed 3 buttons together the device showed me "FACTROY SET" but everything remains the same,

which capacitor might you recommend replacing or another component you can think about ? Can the main capacitor in power supply cause such a phenomenon ? Many thanks to all the experts

@electri

You would have to open the piano and view the boards to check for any obvious problems.

It is not always a capacitor that is the problem e.g. it could be the voltage supply regulators in the piano itself as there may be different supplies derived from the main power supply etc.

Also please "unaccept" my answer as it didn't solve the problem

getting the service manual may be the only true way to find out what's wrong as usually there are schematics i a service manual.
