Why can't I make calls.
Done a phone delete, downloaded to i tunes, everthing esle works just can't make any call.

Does the phone recognize the sim card? Are you using AT&T or another carrier? If the phone was previously unlocked you might have just removed the unlock so now it wouldn't work for tmobile (non AT&T carrier).
If you are using AT&T, what was the phone doing prior to you restoring it? Was it having trouble with something specific?
If the phone does not detect a sim card you may have broken the sim reader when taking the sim card out. That would require fine solder skill and a cheap part.

have you reset network settings in "general"? This may be the cause of the problem...otherwise if you have a previous backup of your iphone then try that.
