Can the Backbone One be modded for an iPad mini?
If you remove the springs, can it stretch to fit an ipad mini5?

Hi @clatekeen, after removing the spiral springs and the screws which connect both controller sides, the Backbone One can be extended by a maximum of 19cm. (7,5 inches).

So if you remove the springs and screws that control the middle back piece, you can remove the main connector cable, and unfold it. In that configuration it can be modded to fit an Ipad mini. However it cant retract, and it’s easy for the main cable to pop off, but it does work.
