I hear sound but my sceen is black
i turn on my snes and on one game i hear sound but it has a black screen and on most the games the screen flickers a color on it with no sound

If you hear game sounds or music, but see no picture and you've already ruled out the cabling and TV, then you might have a bad main board in the console.

I don't really know about how the parts on a Super Nintendo, but there should be some component that outputs the video, probably some chip or part of the cartridge reader, that went bad.
