Requesting more specitivity on guide for installing RAM

First of all, I love this site and the guidance is amazing. But for someone not used to working on electronic devices, I'm a little hesitant to start sliding in computer boards/chips if I'm not exactly sure where to do it.

In reading the the guide for installing RAM in my Macbook Core 2 Duo, everything is very specific until the end where it doesn't really show exactly where the RAM is inserted.

Can anyone expand on that because when pulling back on the metal lever, my fingers are not small enough to slide the RAM chip out and I don't want to force the lever too much...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thank you!

Changing the RAM on this machine is perhaps the simplest repair you will ever do- don't worry at all. The ram is in those two slots you can see in the guide pictures, you won't run into any problems "forcing" the lever, it's very straightforward and all comes out easily.

Thank you for the vote of confidence! But when I pull on the metal lever, is the old chip suppose to "pop" out, because otherwise it seems pretty difficult to grab with my fingers...

It'll come out pretty easily, I doubt you'll have a problem unless your fingers are the size of soda cans.

Never should have second guessed you guys or myself. It was quick and easy as you said even with my stumpy fingers... Many thanks again.
