Spacebar key and shift key stopped working after batt change

Hi,

I recently changed my MacBook Pro battery. Since then my keyboard spacebar and shift key are not working.

They are not sticky but they just don't work. Any suggestions?

Do you think the adhesive remover went into them to cause problems.
