Hi

If you have Win 10 installed, try getting into the Windows Recovery Environment menus to see if you can so a startup repair.

There are two methods to get there.

a). Start the laptop and when it boots into Windows press and hold the power button until the laptop shuts down. Do this 3 times in a row i.e. Start > boot > force shutdown > start > boot > force shutdown > start etc

On the 3rd attempt it should boot into the WRE menus.

If it does then go to Troubleshooting > Advanced > Startup repair and follow the prompts. Do not select Reset this PC because if you select the wrong option after this you can erase all your data as Windows will be reinstalled

b). If for whatever reason you can’t get into the WRE menus this way create a Win 10 recovery USB drive. To do this, all you need is access to any known working Win 10 computer, an empty 8GB USB flashdrive and 40-60 minutes of time.

In the host computer go to Control Panel > Recovery > create a recovery drive and follow the prompts.

When you have the USB recovery drive, start the laptop and get into BIOS (press F2) and enable the Legacy USB setting (or perhaps CSM) and also alter the boot priority to USB first boot option. Insert the USB into the USB port of the laptop, Save the changes and exit BIOS.

This will restart the laptop and it should boot into the WRE menus from the USB drive. See above for what to do once you’re in the WRE menus
