3 Nintendo ds lite no power missing mic
I just bought a “won’t turn on” ds lite. Upon taking it apart first and really only thing I noticed is there wasn’t a white wire connected to the board, which I now know is the mic which is missing. When I turn it on the green light comes on then turns off. Hoping that not having the wire connect would be the issue and it’s not something more difficult. Would this be normal behavior if it’s not connected?

The display ribbon cables not seated correctly or damaged are a usual cause of that as I had similar issue after replacing the top screen on one. The mic cable not being connected shouldn’t affect it powering on as I left it disconnected while troubleshooting the screen at the time which did eventually work when it was plugged in correctly!
