Will 3rd party parts work on an iPhone 7 Plus?

I know that 3rd party touch ID won’t work, aside from that are there other parts that won’t work, or would the iPhone show warnings that the parts aren’t genuine, like the warnings on the iPhone 12 in Hugh Jeffreys’ teardown video?

My iPhone 7 Plus is currently in iOS 13.7, will I experience any issues after installing the 3rd party parts and updating to iOS 14?

Should I update to iOS 14 first before installing 3rd party parts?

Note: I am planning to replace the battery and the display assembly

For the display assembly, I found a kit that includes everything installed, except for the home button/touch ID.
