Why is the green led not working?

My Nintendo DS holds a charge fine but the led battery indicator doesn’t light up green when charged. Is there a way to replace the bulb inside? Could something else be the issue?

@shadowmancer64 if it charges and functions properly it could just be the LED. Id leave it alone for now
