Hello. I have replaced the back glass for my iPhone xs Max and after the replacement I have two yellow marks on the screen, top right corner next to battery and bottom left. I replaced in the same day the back cover for an iPhone X flawless and now my xs max has this. Will attach pictures

Thanks for the answers. Can I fix it witouth replacing the screen, or it will get worse ?

While the screen is off you can see in the last picture that the defect is still present. A weird thing that happens is at the last white bar of the WiFi signal, when I look straight at it is yellow, if I look from an angle its normal white.

I am thinking is a glue/something problem because underneath the actual oled pannel seems to show colours just fine

Done, I uploaded the pictures @pomikoli

Have you replaced just the back glass or the entire back housing? Have you used any heat or glue while the screen was still attached?

@pomikoli i have used heat, only back glass, stuck the phone to the table using two strips of two sided tape stuck on a tape and that on the screen . I had slight issues when trying to get the phone unstuck but did not use excessive force. And yes the screen was still attached. I did not use glue, it came preapplied. Due note that the defect looks like a yellowish spot under the glass, the colours are good when looking at it from the side, or even upfront. So I don't think that the actual oled is the issue.

Used the exact same procedure on an iPhone X 30 mins prior, it worked flawlessly. Both phones work great, beside those two spots, touchscreen, touch id, NFC wireless charging nothing else affected on either of phones.

Cristian that looks like pressure damage (can’t totally exclude heat damage but I am certain you were careful with your heat gun). Give it a couple of days and see if it straightens itself out. Ultimately, I would be looking at a display replacement.

Do you think it will fade away ? I will send better pictures now, on a display testing app it seems to be working fine, showing the right colours just light is somewhat changed , from an angle the defect nearly fades away and I can see the colours that is supposed to be. Thanks!
