Is my iPhone repairable? (Water damaged Screen)
A few months ago I got lost in the rain while walking outside and my phone got exposed to the rain. I was relying on google maps to get home so my phone was getting pretty wet.
After I made it to a dry location, my phone screen starting glitching out so I tried tapping on it and it slowly started glitching more. I made it back home but my phone screen died completely when I made it. The phone ran out of battery too so I charged it, but the screen was completely black. I knew the phone still worked because the home button still made vibrations and my friend tried calling me and the ringtone played.
I decided to leave it in rice for 24 hours while letting it charge. In the morning the screen turned on, but it was just a black screen with glitchy color bars. The phone still vibrated and received notifications but the screen was completely busted.
It’s been sitting in my drawer for a few months now while I use a backup phone. Every time I charge up the phone to check, its just the same color bar glitch but the phone still works and can receive calls.
Recently I realized theres lost data on that phone I need to recover that isn’t backed up on the cloud. I’m thinking about getting the iFixit screen replacement kit but I’m not sure if its a problem with the circuit board or the actual screen?

Hello, you can repair it if it is the screen only that has been damaged not the water if your room is touched and you start to rust or something else you will have to change it is also. I repair the iPhone to a friend who was stay 5 days in a river one winter and dear me it is -50 degrees Celsius in winter, so you should be able to fix it
