I have a similar problem where my cat chew thru the Thunberbolt cable. I'm wondering if there is a replacement part for that somewhere?

Sounds like you need Apple part # 922-8679, All-In-One - 24inch LED Cinema Display A1267. It's a bit pricey so do a web search for the best buy.
