Corrosion in my iPod touch, how do I fix this problem?
Hi all! I've only had my ipod touch for about 6 or 7 months and it suddenly just died and wont charge anymore or do anything. I took it to world of wireless to see if it was a bad battery or a bad charge port and the told me that I had corrosion in my ipod. I don't know how that could happen as I haven't dropped it in water or anything. They also told me that they put in a new battery and still nothing happend so I am lost on what to do. If you know how to fix this problem please let me know. I would like to get it fixed. Thanks!

FYI....I also just tested if power was going into the ipod and there is.
Es esta una buena pregunta?
Areas of high humidity can cause internal corrosion as well. Also, make sure that you keep your devices where air can circulate, any case that prevent circulation can cause internal corrosion. I would start with this guide. and make sure you pay close attention to all the connectors and connections as well as the cable ends. Hope this helps to get you started....
