No sounds on 2017 MacBook (13" retina) after replacing battery

I replaced the battery in MacBook 2017 Retina display (13”) following the guide provided by ifixit

It was successful and upon boot the battery looks good but my sounds now are greyed out and I tried to reset the SMC and PRAM and that did not seem to help. I even opened up my MacBook again to ensure I did not miss any cable — doesn’t look like it.

In system preferences under sound -> output there is nothing listed and if I try to hit the sound buttons on my keyboard it has an “crossed out” icon….

Go back in follow the guide to disable the battery, then jump to Step 17 Reemplazo de la batería del MacBook Retina 2017

You either failed to insert the cable fully or the clamp was not set, or you damaged the cable to the board.

Ordered the audio cable from ifixit and went back to step 17 and replaced it. Sounds still broken. Any other ideas?

Do you think maybe I need to replace the Audio Jack Board??

I have done a complete tear-down like 3 or 4 times:

-I ordered a new Audio flex cable, the replacement did not help

-I made sure the audio flex ribbon cable was secured and that you couldn't see the "white" lines as someone suggested in the comments.

-I double checked on the 2 speaker antenna to make sure they were connected and secured.

-Disconnected audio board and reconnected everything.

My 2017 Retina Macbook works perfectly except it is obvious that audio is somehow disconnected.
