Why won't my truck stay running

I've replaced the ignition pick up, cap and rotor on the distributor, ignition coil, i did a tune up and it ran fine for a while and I let it sit a couple days and now when I when to start it, it acted like it started but as soon as I released pressure from the key it dies. I think its the ignition switch, but it looks fine and I'm not 110% on it, any advice helps.

Update (06/29/2020)

Alright now I replaced the ignition switch, and I'm still having the same problem. And I kinda inspected the wire harness and it seems fine wires look good. So now I'm puzzled.

It's the ignition switch. You are losing the ignition signal when in the run position. It will stay running if you hold it in the start position. Make sure you replace the ignition switch on the steering column not the key and tumbler.

Update (09/17/2020)

Did you replace the key and tumbler or the electrical part on the switch?

Definitely the ignition switch.

You may need to check he ignition switch throw to make sure it is adjusted Sense you replaced the switch already and still have the same issue if you got a test light you should be able to see it is getting power in the run position or there maybe a wire issue
