how do you remove the hard drive & battery from a dell inspiron 9100 laptop ?

Here is a link to the service manual for your computer. Use the" before you begin" for info on removing the battery. Good luck.

Battery is easy to un-clip. Turn over your laptop and you will see a lock at one side of battery all you need to is just to slide that downwards and pull the battery upward.
For take the hard drive off it pretty easy, have a look at sound card side your will see a screw at the bottom, all you need to do is to open that screw and pull the separate part outward it shall bring your hard drive off.
