iPhone 8 - Touch only works with copy screens

Hi,

Have an iPhone 8 lying around where the touch-screen only functions with 3rd party screens. Not with OEM/refurbished screens.

Has anyone encountered this before?

The issue you faced is a known issue with iPhone 8.

And I am sorry there is no solution to the problem.

It is a manufacturing defect. Nothing can be done about it.

So when when someone removed the original screen, it just "broke" by itself so that 3rd party screens only work. Wierd, but thanks!
