1 PS3 not reading game discs. Not blu ray drive
I'm working on a ps3 right now. Initial problem was it wouldn't read game discs. I swapped a blu ray drive from another console that was reading discs. No help. I'm thinking it's another hardware issue besides the blu ray drive. Everything inside the console is clean.
It won't read blu ray games and movies. Won't read ps1 games or cds. Won't read dvds.
Like I said, I swapped blu ray drives thinking it would fix the problem, it didn't.

I also looked at clearing corrupted files in safe mode. Done it. No help.

I have practically the same problem with my Ps3 slim, the only differece is that my ps3 can read cds and dvds but it cant read bluray discs, I have changed the bluray drive from another ps3 slim that works fine, but still the same. Idk if you found a solution!
