Plays black and white only

Using a 2007 Insignia TV. Tried using composite yellow, white and red and got sound with no video. Tried the component connections and got black and white with sound. Cleaned rca jacks with alcohol, got same results. Tried setting the input tv channel to 3 & 4, same results. Tried changing Ps2 settings from RGB to the component settings and got the same results.

• Itried the same system on a 2008 Sanyo and it worked beautifully on the AV yellow, white and red jacks. I’m going crazy! Can someone please help me? Just wondering if I get a ps2 plug with an hdmi adapter instead of the rca cables, could that fix my problem?
