start out in the morning when is cold it's not working well

Good day great ones , I have a golf 1998 fuel 1.6, when I start out in the morning when is cold it's not working well , the engine start and I and stop and when I match the break is shacking and if I move quickly just to match break in a traffic life after one minute of drive it goes off . So I have to start again . But when is warm is perfect. I but the car from a guy who said he left the car for long, but you no lost sallers wont tell you all . Please can some one help me out
