MacBook air will not finish booting and keyboard shortcuts do not work
My Macbook air was working more or less normally until yesterday. After I got home, the computer was booting but was stuck on 3/4th of the boot bar.
I have tried restarting the computer several times but each time, the exact same problem occurs regardless of what keyboard shortcuts I try to use on boot. I cannot start the computer in Safe Mode, Recovery Mode, Verbose Mode, etc.
I know I’m not inputting the shortcuts wrong because they work fine when I tried them on my Mac desktop. I will try to find a USB keyboard soon because the USB mouse works, though I can only move the keyboard cursor around. However, I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the keyboard because the power button works normally, and the caps lock light does turn on.

Do you have a bootable external drive you can try to boot up from?
If not do you have access to a second Mac that you can connect yours to via a Thunderbolt cable?
