Hi @vshanewilk ,

If the TV is still covered by a warranty, get it fixed under warranty

If the TV is no longer covered by the warranty, try the following.

Disconnect the power from the TV and then remove the back cover.

Then disconnect the cable that runs between the power board and the mainboard.

Reconnect the power to the TV and switch on the TV.

All the TV panel backlights should turn on and stay on. There will be no picture as the mainboard has been disconnected.

If they don’t stay on check the voltage at the backlight cable connector on the power board.

If it reads no or low voltage then there is a problem with the power board.

If it reads high voltage (180-300V DC) then there is a problem with the backlights. There is either a faulty connection somewhere between the power board and the backlight array or some failing backlight LEDs

I think it’s a power supply board issue, maybe something to do with the capacitors

It could be the power supply as previously suggested; it could also be the backlight circuit as well. If the LED backlight driver circuit is weak and failing, this circuit is most likely your culprit. Bad capacitors could be at fault in either circuit.

If you’re inclined to do so, take the back of the TV off and look at the boards; check for capacitors that have domed or swollen tops, and might be leaking. If you post pictures of what you see, that MIGHT help others help you as well.

This 100% is a t-con board issue, it's a very common issue with this model, problem will be finding one however on ebay there are several companies offering a repair service. Hope this helps

Larry Bjerke how do you figure this "fades to black from left to right " is a T-con board error? Which part of the T-con circuitry? Why would it fade like this?
