When I turn my Xbox one on, the button lights up but nothing is displaying on my tv. I can’t pair my controller to the Xbox either. It just turns on and stays on and the only way to turn it off is to unplug it.

You may have a bad motherboard in the console and/or bad component boards as well.
In this case you can try replacing the front panel board which is the power and sync button controller.
Next would be the Network Interface Controller(NIC) on top of the internal metal case. That should help with the controller syncing issue.
For display though that is the motherboard, in which case if cleaning the case and re-pasting the heat sink to the CPU doesn’t resolve then you may need to replace the motherboard.
