power up and app use

I have a Lenovo Tab 10” , and it would not power up ,

intermittently it does power up , but nothing works,

now, here is my issue , when i take a back cover off the tablet ,the tablet works perfectly , I have had a look very close and dont see anything that i would consider interfering in the boot process …what am I missing here ?

Hi @seanmck , so if you are having back cover off, is the flex cable with a connector fine? Isn't there some issues? Or, just clean up the connector and check, if the cable is fitting on the place. If it's ok, just check the battery contacts with the same cases - fitting, dust on the connectors, etc. It may be only banality.
