help locating my jumper pads for bios

I bought a storage unit. Inside was a computer with a bios password. It's a Toshiba p55w-c5200. I'm trying to locate the jumper pads on the motherboard to reset the bios password. If anyone would be so kind to help it would be great.

Just make a jumper on JRST2501 for 10 seconds, 100% working for Bios password reset. Regards.

Solución Elegida

@t12icky0 first off, it’s a Toshiba. That is another crazy Black Helicopter company that is absolutely paranoid about releasing any information that may help a DIY’er. They do not care about anyone else but corporate greed and love to use their legal team for intimidation of independent service centers and DIY enthusiasts. No help from them

With that out of the way remove your Ram first. Most common place for the reset jumper is under the memory modules. Second, we need a couple of clear complete motherboard pictures without the RAM

Just seen something in your last picture. Looks like JRST2002. That should be the BIOS reset.

Yea, I thought that's what it was. I have tried putting a screwdriver to the middle pads and it hasn't helped. Is there a special trick to ding the pad reset? I've never Done this before but im pretty familiar with computers. Is it just using wire to link both pads together?

@t12icky0 that's usually all you have to do. You did power it up.......

Yes I used keys, screwdriver, and a micro usb to bridge them. Then I turned on the computer and it still shows the bios lock.

@t12icky0 let's investigate and see what we can find out. Slim pickins' with Toshiba

You can use this website to generate a bios master password which is based off a hash code or serial that is usually displayed when the bios password is entered incorrectly 3 times:
