Lines on LCD After Screen Replacement On Any Screens Used
Hey, I picked up an iPhone 7 today for £90. It only had a cracked screen but everything worked and the LCD was fine, I thoroughly checked all the features before paying. I did a screen replacement. Before I swapped the home buttons from the two screens, I tested the screen etc and all was well. I swapped the home button on the screen for the one paired to the iPhone’s motherboard then I turned it on and now there are blue lines on the LCD. I thought this was a faulty screen, so I swapped the screen for the old cracked one that came with the phone when I bought it but I am still getting lines. On inspecting the logic board sockets, there is no obvious damage or debris. Any ideas on what I’ve done?
Anyone got an idea how I managed to damage it? I have done many screen repairs before without any issues, but I am not a professional.
