Won’t boot up, stuck on gray screen

When I press the power button, the chime goes on and the screen slightly lights up(the apple mark on the outside lights up) but the apple logo never comes up.

Ive left it on for around 15 mins but it just goes to sleep.

Battery lamp turns on when connected to the battery, and caps lock lamp also turns on when I do shift-caps lock.

The keyboard doesn’t light up.

I’ve tried all the key sequences but nothing shows up on my display.

I think it’s a hardware issue, does anyone know how to fix this?
