As far as I know, cars don’t use resistors to heat the air, they have a second water circuit in the inside to transfer heat from the motor to the internal radiators.

@vertinhol you are absolutely right. The resistors are not to heat the air. A blower motor resistor is to receive an input signal from the climate control module and is responsible for controlling the amount of power going to the blower motor. It is responsible or the different stages of the blower motor; has nothing to do with the heat
