MBP Early 2011 charges battery extremely slow

Hello, everybody.

I purchased a second hand MacBook Pro 15" Early 2011 (A1286), everything works properly, except that when I want to charge the battery takes between 8-10 hours to fully charge the battery while I use, I have checked with the program Coconut that I get between 5W-6W of power, I do not know if this will be normal ...

Comment that the battery is third party (Anyoneer) to release, only 2 cycles, not the original Apple, the charger is original 85W MagSafe "L". Is it normal that it takes so long to charge? If not, what do you recommend I do?

Have passed near 7 cycles, and battery takes same time to charge (near 10-12 hours shut down). Any suggest?

Is possible know if is a battery problem, or was a MagSafe charge port failure?

I realized two Apple Hardware Diagnostic (the short and long version) 0 failures.

Thanks for your time and help to all

Gracias

Greetings from your friend Kancervero .. !!

It's not normal for it to take so long to charge

I would consider changing the third party battery for an original

It could be that this battery is wrong.

Now to make an accurate diagnosis you should have tools such as multimeter and a test voltage source

download the scheme of that equipment so you can see the voltages that must be present

check the cable that goes from the battery to the logic in that same place there are some diodes and capacitors check that they are working.

If you do not have experience I recommend that you take it to an apple center to have it checked or if you do, keep in mind that these recommendations are your responsibility.

I will try to find the schematic and I share it

I hope you get an idea my comments

Please post an image of your Coconut Battery results.

My first impression is that you power adapter is not delivering enough charge.

@mayer Here is it. Something strange, is that just when I connect the charger and see the "time remaining to complete the charge" appears to me that gives 60W, but when it indicates the final remaining time, drops to 5-6W, and takes more than 10 hours to charge.

@macintosh98 Give me a bit and I'll hook up an 85 watt adapter to a 2011 15" MBP and see what wattage it is charging at.

@mayer Ok, thank you Sir.

@macintosh98 I need to drain the battery first.
