You can put up to 4GB of DDR2 667MHz memory, and the hard drive you can use up to a 250GB drive under most circumstances.

I downvoted you because you gave an answer before we know the facts of which machine Boudi has. Some will take up to 8 GBs of memory. The earlier models of the 2.4 will take a 750 GB 9.5 mm, the later Unibodies will handle a 1 TB 12.5 mm, this is from OWC, "1.0TB WD Scorpio Blue 5200RPM SATA *12.5mm* HD with Advanced Format Technology - Fits all Apple MacBook/MacBook Pro 'Unibody' Models (13/15/17"), MacBook Pro 'pre-unibody' 17"
I think my is earlier one. For the memory do u meen that I can't put 8 GB DDR3? For the HD can you pls help me to find it in here and from amazon?
According to your serial number Apple says your computer will take 4 GB but OWC says it will take 6 GB. I don't believe your unit will work with 8 GB--the max would be 6 GB of 667 MHz PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM.

Please give us the last three figures of your serial number so we know exactly which machine you have. There are different 2.4 15" machines
