Hi guys,
Does anyone know a part number for a replacement part for the thunderbolt / mini-display port on the A1644 Macbook air? And, if possible a place to buy the part?
In the schematics floating around online, the part is called J9400, with what appears to be manufacturer part number MDP-J11 F-RT-TH. But that doesn’t get me any closer.

Sadly the connector is part of the main logic board. The best you could do is find a junker board and try to desolder the connecter to then put on your board.
Frankly, I think its just easier to replace the logic board and maybe upgrade it in the process to a 8 GB board or getting the better CPU Reemplazo de la placa lógica del MacBook Air 13" de principios del 2015

Hi, thanks for your answer. I can easily replace the part myself. I just need the actual connector part number. It must be available somewhere?
It's a custom Apple part. Which is why you need to find a junker board to pull it from.
