If the distortion to your screen is the same throughout with no visible diagonal cracks, then most likely this could be fixed by reconnecting the LCD cable.

where is the LCD cable ?

You will find this cable inside after opening the device (most likely the back cover will come off). It comes right out of the back of the LCD and plugs directly into the main board.
