Installed light kits and now golf cart does not work!

I installed a light kit on my 2015 Club Car Precedent 48 volt. I installed a 48v to 12v reducer for the light kit. The lights work. But now there seems to be no power to drive. I mean nothing happens at all. No beep in reverse it's like something is not getting electric. It worked before the light installation and Now does not work after the installation. I'm not sure what could have happened.

@willy1 where and how did you connect the kit? Have you tried to remove the installed wiring etc. and checked the fuses on your cart?

@willy1 this will all depend on where and how you connected that kit. Try to remove the installed wiring etc. and check the fuses on your cart. Use a meter to trace the power from the batteries to the controller etc.

there might have been a wire damaged in the process of adding the lights if you have checked all the wiring the battery might not be able to take the load
