My I Phone 5s won't turn on or do anything?

I have an Iphone 5s and got grounded for 2 to 3 months and got my phone back and like any normal person would do i put it to charge for 1hr or so. I come back to check on the phone and see no battery icon so i question myself if my phone even works. I let it charge for the whole night, and the next day the phone still dosen’t turn on or show the battery icon or the apple logo or anything the phone screen is completely black and no audio or rumble or anything so does anyone know a fix?

Is there an alternative like doing it myself or or doing something else like cleaning the pins?

If nothing was done to the phone when you did not have it's going to most likely be a bad charging chip for this one.

Will need to take to a reputable store that does board repairs on iPhones.

Well if the charging cable doesn't fully go into the charging socket of the phone that means there may be lint / dust inside the port. You'll need to use a toothpick, Sim pin or some fine tweezers to get them out.

Note that there are pins in the port that can be damaged easily if not handled carefully.
