Use a knife and dig in. Very helful, but be careful. However, it gives few, small scartches, but it is worth it!

Hey Moe.

Check out this guide:

iPhone 4 Headphone Jack & Volume Control Cable Replacement

This will show you how to take your phone apart to get to the inside of the headphone jack, where you can possibly dislodge the stone with a pin or other small tool. If you can't dislodge it, while you're there, you can replace the entire jack with this: [producto vinculado inexistente o deshabilitado: IF182-016]

Alternatively, since your jack isn't working anyway... you could try a couple of methods... first of all, I'd get a long stick pin and try to move the stone around in the jack. If it was small enough to go in and get stuck, it is small enough to fall out on it's own. Try to get it loose in there and then shake it around a bit and it might just drop out. If that doesn't work, you can try to glue a piece of something to the stone to pull it out. I would try a bamboo skewer with a drop of CA glue such as Zap-A-Gap on the end of it. Press the skewer against the stone and find a way to keep it there without moving until the glue sets, and then let it dry overnight. Hopefully you'll be able to remove the stone with the skewer.

Let us know what works for you.

Here is what i would do....

Follow the guide and take the headphone jack out. On the opposite side it has a cover like a piece of tape kind of thick. You dont have to break it or remove it, just find the way to stick in a niddle or paper clip strong enough to push the stone out.

I did that once to remove a plug that broke inside the headphone jack.

Hope that helps :)

Well I didn't get a rock sick in mine but I did get something similar. What I found useful was to get a toothpick, cut the one of the tops off. Then I put some glue on it, glue that will stick to whatever is stuck. Do NOT USE HOT GLUE! Then stick it on the thing that is blocking, let it dry, then try pulling it out. Hope this helps!

I had a diamond-shaped bead get stuck on the depths of my iphone's headphone jack and found just the thing to remedy the issue. Find a Safety Pin (can find in any sewing kit at a convenience store), unfasten the pin so the pointed end is exposed, bend the tip about 1/4 of the length and use it as a pick to get behind the obstructing object and "hook" it out. Took me about 5 mins of trying in order to get the correct angle but it then slid out with little effort.

Good luck and hope many find this useful!

i was looking up almost the same thing my earphone accessory that i put in my earphone jack broke and got stuck. so i found out a way to get it out. the things you need are, a Q-tip, scissors and super glue. im sitting here waiting for the super glue to dry. so what you need to do is, cut off one end of the Q-tip only the cotton part. then put a dot of glue on the end of the Q-tip you cut off. Then put your Q-tip into the earphone jack onto the stone wait ten minutes for the glue to dry. Then pull the Q-tip out and the stone should come out. hope that helped.

P.S. (THE GLUE HAS TO BE SUPER GLUE!!!)

Use a bobby pin. This will work much better than a needle since it's flat so it won't roll around the rock.

Unfold the bobby pin and rip off the little nub at the end. Make sure the device is off and then use this to fish the rock out. Alternatively you can shape them into a pair of tweezers and use it that way.

Worked for me like a charm on my laptop!

u need is a hair dryer / air blower and some thin pins and flash light. first try to manipulate using thin pins or stapler pin, then blow using air dryer at normal temperature at 45 degree overhead and 145 degrees, then see under flash light whether the piece has moved.. repeat the above mentioned steps as required.
