Dryer won't turn on (no light either)

So I've been trying to figure out the issue with my dryer for some time. I've had three repairmen come out - one said my dryer wasn't getting power from the outlet. My maintenance man said the power was correct. The second guy said it was the switch - I replaced it with no results. The third guy said it was the timer, but I checked the timer with a multimeter and it seems to be working.

Sounds like it is not getting power from the outlet. Double check fuses, the 240v line will have it's own fuses, could also be an issue with the 240v outlet itself. Have you tested the connection on the back of the dryer with a multimeter to make sure it's getting power?

Hey Adam, thanks for your reply! I live in an apartment and I've had the apartment's maintenance team come out twice to check the outlet. They've told me both times that the outlet is functioning properly. Do you know how I could go about double checking it myself?

If you have a voltage meter this link should cover some basic tests on your main connection from the cord. https://youtu.be/ty4Bu-iwJJM

I checked the connections on the back of the machine and I got 240 volts on the outside connections, but I didn't get 120 volts on the middle/left and middle/right. I checked the cord like it said in the video and it seems to be fine. I have a 4 prong cord if that changes anything? Also, the screw on the center connector seems loose, but when I tested, both cords (the one from the cord and the one leading to the top panel) we touching the screw.

Check the thermal fuse in the dryer. But unplug dryer first. Google your model for its location and instructions. Do a continuity test on the fuse. Also did you check the belt? A bad or loose improperly fitting door switch will cause this as well.

Most likely the door switch bad or loose. Unless bulb blown also. Try opening the door, hold in the dryer switch with one hand(with door open) try turning on dryer with other hand. Also try wiggling the switch . If it comes on switch loose or wore nearly out. If no. Belt may be broken or a bad thermal fuse. Unplug dryer before attempting to unassembled. You'll need to Google your model for locations and instructions. I assume you checked the breaker already. Did it happen suddenly? If you heard it when it last worked did you hear a momentary slapping noise when it quit.? If yes, most likely the belt broke.
