A few things might be wrong:

  1. The full factory reset could have deleted your home’s WiFi password from your computer’s hard drive. This will cause the computer to be unable to automatically connect to your home’s WIFI. You may have to re-enter the password.
  2. Your system may have been left in “airplane mode” after the reset. This will block all wireless connections to your computer. If there is a small airplane icon on the right of your Taskbar, please click on it and de-select the Airplane Mode option on the pop-up menu.
  3. The driver for your Network Interface Card may have been reset to an earlier version. This will render the card unable to work properly. Please connect your computer to your router via an ethernet cable and update your NIC card.
