When I turn on my mac the log on screen come up . I put my password in and then screen goes blank for few second but don’t come up to the desktop page and then it reboot itself. What could be my problem.

Your problem would most probably be the GPU, that 2011 15” series has been plagued by the issue and subject to a 5 years extended warranty from Apple because of that. What you’re experiencing are very coherent simptoms of such failure. If you need a decent graphic card for your daily use, it’s time to replace your Mac. If you can live with just the integrated Intel HD3000 and you’re are ready to deal with side issues you may investigate disabling the discrete GPU, there are several different approaches to choose from, just google for “disable GPU on macbook pro” and you’ll find tons of info about it. Avoid hardware repair, it’s expensive and often just a scam.

gfx card status works but you will have to pull the drive and hook it up to another machine to install the software to get it to work.
